Series: Psy-Changeling Trinity #3
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Publisher: Berkley
Pages: 416
Release date: June 4th 2019

The end of Silence was supposed to create a better world for future generations. But trust is broken, and the alliance between Psy, Changeling, and human is thin. The problems that led to Silence are back in full force. Because Silence fixed nothing, just hid the problems.

This time, the Psy have to find a real answer to their problems–if one exists. Or their race will soon go extinct in a cascade of violence. The answer begins with an empath who is attuned to monsters–and who is going to charm a wolf into loving her despite his own demons.

Eh. I’m not sure why I didn’t connect with Wolf Rain. Maybe because after 15+ books, there isn’t anything new to bring to the table. This is pretty much like every other Psy-Changeling novel that came before it, only with less plot development than we’re used to, so I personally found it a bit boring to read through. WWW Wednesday: Read, Reading, Will Read (96)

wwwwed

Welcome to WWW Wednesday, a meme currently being hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. It’s a place for you to do a little update on what your reading plans are.

The Three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

1. Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson

Fantasy! I’m back with Wax and Wayne this month. I’m about halfway through the novel and so far things are pretty interesting. The world-building is still the best part and I’m amazed at how detailed it continues to be.

What did you recently finish reading?

    1. The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson: YA Fantasy ARC! Lack of world-building and the plot totally falls after if you think too much about it.
    2. Halo by Ella Frank, Brooke Blaine: M/M Romance! Nothing happens in this, just sex. And Viper is super pushy.
    3. The Alice Network by Kate Quinn: Historical! Lovely characters and compelling story.
    4. A Dark Lure by Loreth Anne White: Mystery! Complex characters, but a bit too dramatic and predictable.

What do you think you’ll read next?
