To Be Read – August 2017

tbr

August, the longest month of the year, is here 😛 This is also the start to my very last semester ever of university! So from here on out I’ll be very focused on graduating and not curling up on the floor and crying, which means less reading time for me. 😦

I’m still going to stick to the previous TBR structure, as it’s been kind of working so far. This time I’ll keep my goals to a minimum, though, in an attempt to not stress myself out. Send me good vibes, please.

MUST READS

This month’s ARCs are:

Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller ✨

YA Fantasy! With a little bit of Dystopia thrown in, maybe? And a genderfluid main character! I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about this book, so lets see what I think of it.

Odd & True by Cat Winters ✨

Historical YA Fantasy! Also my first ever Cat Winters book. This novel is set in the early 1900s, and it tells the story of two sisters, magic, and their fight against monsters.

Wish You Were Here by Renee Carlino ✨

Contemporary Romance! I’ve only ever read Carlino’s debut novel, so I’m very curious to see how she’s evolved as a writer. This is a cute story about two cute people who are after something more in life and what happens when they come across each other.

GOALS

Since July was my birthday month, I sort ended up with…. a lot……. of new books……… added to my TBR 🙈

The Reading Quest also starts this month! Which means more books to read 😛 With that, my goals are:

✨ READ 1 RECENT BOOK PURCHASE

When I say I added a lot of books to my TBR I mean I added maybe around… 10 books? So this is a good goal to try to achieve this month. I hope. Please @self don’t disappoint me.

✨ FIGHT MY TBR IN THE READING QUEST

As said on my post, I’ll be participating in the Quest as a Knight. It means I have 5 books to read, without the side-quest squares. I’ll try to tackle most of them this month 😀

What are you reading this month? Let me know in the comments!

I’m planning to read Mask of Shadows this month as well. I also want to read Girls Made of Snow and Glass and A Conjuring of Light! I’ll be reading Catcher in the Rye for school summer reading too, and i usually leave school reading until the very last minute XD

Yay fellow MoS reader!! 😀 I still need to read A Conjuring of Light, but I don’t want the series to end 😦 Catcher is… an experience 😛 I read it when I was 14-15. Happy reading!
